AVOID THE GRANDIOSITY

Avoid the Grandiosity

Creativity is important, but when it is excessive, it can lead to grandiosity. Some claim to be different and they are so obsessed with been “different” that they begin to do JUST everything “differently” and most often, wrongly.

As too much of everything is not good, so can too much of zeal, push and ambition not properly matched with corresponding work and planing may do more harm than good.

Don’t do what you can do in a day in a month under the guise that you are trying to reach perfection. Great ideas never come fully formed, they only become better as you continue to work on them. So don’t delay the launch, don’t postpone the meeting, don’t wait another day because of grandiosity.

The successful know that being grandiose is not useful. Rather, it is simply a form of day-dreaming that does not translate into practical and reasonable set of steps you can take to improve your situation.

Tread with caution.
